This is Joseph, our friend/newest family member from Kenya. Joseph ran the soapstone group that provides us with our beautiful soapstone products. Fatrine Selp Help Group. That was up until the post electoral violence that started Dec 27, with the accused rigging of Presidential elections that has caused 1000 or more people to be murdered and about 500,000 people to be displaced and are now in refugee camps. Josephs family is one of the first families hit with the violence and they were burned out of their home and have lost everything.. but the clothes on their backs. Joseph has a sick wife and 3 young girls to support, and we are currently doing EVERYTHING we can to help them. Email me if you have suggestions! Kim@GiftsOfLife.org
