Beautiful handwoven, handmade baskets from Uganda, made from Banana fiber, raffia, and natural dyes.
This picture shown makes it hard to see the depth, but I want to let you know that these are all fruit-type baskets with a depth of about 2-3" deep.
Woven by women of rural Uganda, these baskets have coils of banana fiber and raffia dyed brilliant colors in an assortment of designs. They are all unique, and may vary slightly, but for the most part they all measure about 11" around and 3" deep.
Here are a few of our baskets from Uganda, some styles may sell out quickly and we are constantly ordering new designs of whatever is available, so please check back often.
